really its every DBZ fans dream to watch a real movie about DBZ so yes we want them to make another movie except a proper DRAGONBALL Z movie, one that follows the story of the DBZ episodes!! If everyone just asked for this then we would all be happy because im positive that hollywood would find out about what we want and they will make a proper movie that we all dreamt of watching since the first episodes came out on tv.So we think that you should please change the aim of this forumn PLEASE we want another movie because we know that they will look to the WEB for assistance on what the public wants out of the new movie!! problem is, hollywood is full of SoB thats are in it solely for the money. I don't think they will ever br able to make a good LAM of DB, simply because they wont try hard enough, and put enough resources into it.

I also want a decent DB LAM, but if that can't happen, then fine.

BULLSEYE! EXACTLY THIS is the main misconception which many people from US have towards rest of the fans.

Trust me, there are MILLIONS (and quite probably much more) fans that just never wanted to see DB go in live action, I am the first one of them(unless done by Japanese and all in CGI, even then it could be bad), so basically your dream was always my biggest nightmare.

I perfectly respect your wishes and all, but I believe that its just too naive to think that hollywood can do anything ever for fans...they will always at least a bit appeal it towards the widest target audience and with that at least a bit deform it, spoil it and ruin it...(not to mention how much not adaptable particularly DB/Z is, cause of its whole weird and unique characteristics and style).

As for seeking for help, look we are always eager to help as much as we can, but when your wish is contradicting to our purpose then sorry but we just cannot of course
I mean our GOAL is FIGHTING AGAINST DBE, ITS SEQUELS AND ANY FRANCHISE BASED ON IT and you want us to fight for the sequel to come out? I am sorry but that is just not possible...

Look, if you really believe that sequel of THIS can be good then I am just shocked and am 100% sure that you are just another DBE supporter clearly.
As for "reboot" such thing is not possible due to the competition and rights ownership that Fox just don't want to humiliate themselves, and even if it was possible you know what we would get? we'd get Goku REALLY BEING a 12 years old kid and REALLY being short but still going to school(this time just elementary one) and still looking NOTHING like Goku, still daydreaming about chi chi in the classroom, still just being a small version of chatwin...Bulma still having brown hair because OH! blue hair is still just too unrealistic for the live action movie(even though you'll have blasts shooting and flying all around)

People just dont understand that Hollywood = BUSINESS =/= ART
People will just never learn

Its your nightmare, but for some it was a dream come true...until we saw what we were getting. The level of hapiness I felt when I first heard about DBE (it still didn't have the name but screw it) was high at the very least. So when I saw what they did, it sent me into fits of rage. I myself lost hope for the DB LAM idea, but some still retain that hope, and one can even complement then on keeping that hope after seeing the major screw up fox did.

So if they want to keep their hopes fine. But to talk about a sequel of DBE is madness. No matter how good they do now, they alreay fucked up so bad here that the plotholes would be too much.

Also, to think about a rebot would be a bit crazy too, simply because of the nature of todays society. Even of they did it right, people would say it sucked (look at watchmen). So in all, not matter how much me and millions of other fans want to see a good DB LAM, I am conscious that will never happen. This anger me even more.

Yes but you see you are one of those who knows what he wants but IS AWARE of the way hollywood works today...

I smell either Abyssal Fail (even worse than DBE) or Failing Redemption.

I haven’t watched DBE yet but from what I know… How the hell are they planning to introduce Krillin for the frieza saga!? No Krillin = no dying. No dying = no Goku rage time. No Goku rage time = No Super Saiyan(!!)

If they’re planning to do the saiyan saga… Who would they get for Son Gohan? If they can’t get a pre-teen for DBE, how are the planning to introduce Son Gohan? How can they present the saiyans or the fact that the dragon balls are created by Namekians from another planet?

Seriously, it’s impossible for them to move onto those two sagas without either:

A) Epically mess up the storyline with the frieza/saiyan saga as much/more than it already is to link with the failed DBE.

B) Somehow try to smoothen the path by the Piccolo Jr. saga (Bring Krillin in through the Tenkaichi Budokai, get Yamcha to train under Roshi, etc.)

C) Redo DBE and stick more closely to the anime.

These are some of the most probable routes they’ll take (If they have a brain!)
