Oooou man... I think this is unfaithful on the DB LAM level, as far as I can see from those two pictures, because I didn't wathced that anime.

I don't know, I don't like it, but there is the only one good fact that makes, this 999999 better than DB LAM, and its the fact that Japanese movies are not ULTRA COMMERCIALISED and are not turning original material into the pop culture and hollywood red carpet....like this DB LAM is making out of DB GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I still I can't!!!! still scream every time I imagine scene of chatwin being on the red carpet and everybody call him "the Dragon Ball guy" or "the Goku guy" GRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT DRIVES ME INSAAAAAANEEE!!!!

Yes, this movie would be better than the DB one. And yeah I also hate it that there are people who consider Chatwin as Goku.

Yeah, I mean, at least if this movie make a mockery out of that anime than it will make a mockery of the short duration, and everybody will forget it quickly or simply ignore it.
While this terrible DB LAM will be promoted all over the world intensively until every single person get sick of that DB LAM commercial, and then everyone in the future will know DB as THAT CRAPPY MOVIE!!! TERRIBLE!!! GRRRR!!!
Not the mention that scene with Chatwin on the red carpet...I'm constantly dreaming that scene...I've really gone insane
but that only makes me fight more and fiercer!!!

Well I have some doubts about the Higurashi movie:
The police officer Ooishi should be older as in anime. He himself said that he was ready for retirement. What's up with that?!
I can't remember that Kei was in souch lousy mood when he entered scool in anime. Wasn't that the opposite?
Can't imagine that they will be able to convert Rika's cuteness. ("Nipah!" - Awww! So adorable. )

And to be honest, I don't see any resemblence between those anime characters and these actors(just like for DB), but I assume this kind of anime is not anime which us focusing on the look of the characters.

I've watched some scenes on youtube, and I must say I really liked that hysteric atmosphere despites of the style which didn't atracted me at all(same case with the most animes which look something like this one).
That hysteric laugh hahhaha very funny and interesting ^^ I'll definitely watch it when I catch some time.

Well, it is very difficult since in anime they look very unrealistic.

The look is there to decieve
The anime atracted me with his dark and mysterious atmosphere and story. I love the OP and ED music.
I would reccomend it together with the second series for every anime fan.

Yeah, I like the opening music really!
And yeah it will be interesting probably, when eventually begin to watch it...

I was reading on Kotaku that in Japan they also think this movie was bad.
