Also, what changes have been made with this Avatar film? As in, how is it different from the show? (I know nothing about the show by the way)

Did they change that bald headed kid into an emo with long blonde flowing hair?

Well I'm a big avatar friend I'll explain from a normal person and not my usual I hate lam views,. The bald kid is Aang a kid who is the avatar he can use all elements others can only use one. He is very a carefree and cheerful person similar to Goku HOWEVER he dosen't want to be the Avatar AT FIRST. Fox will take advantage of this and make him into a super emo the whole story

I don't think Fox is even producing it.

Far as I know, the main problem isn't the plot, but the casting. They cast white actors, white washed a show based on cultural diversity

One can say the fire guys are Chinese, the Water guys are Hindu, the Earth guys are a combo of western and Japanese, and the air guys are Tibetan (in a way, I always saw the genocide of the air nomads by the fire nation as a critic to the current Chinese and Tibetan situation).

Also, a guy that was in Twilight is playing Sokka, and last I checked they took out Jesse McCartney as Zuko.

I don't know where the movie stands, I don't even know if there is a trailer.

Guys, I have never heard of Avatar the Last Airbender except for on this site. Can anyone fill in the details of it in short if its possible??

Race casting aside, at least Shyamalan's trying to make it look like the cartoon show, lol.

My only hope is that they have this ready for at least three movies.

terrible casting, I've seen the cast and I don't like any of them. Aang I guess is ok, but he looks like he's 10, aang is 12. 12 seems like the age to me where you stop looking so much like a little kid...

and M. night shamalamadingdong's scripts suck...it's all about twists with that guy!

These 4 are from the top of my head. There's a TON of plot twist. And I dunno. I think Aang may be the only one nicely cast. The others...I dunno. Haven't seen pics of them in characters. Sometimes it seems they don't fit, but when you see them in character, they just click,
